Soho London: Miniature Models

These models were made for the short film, "Some City in a Nightmare", a mixed media POV film shot inside of a handcrafted miniature model of the Soho London and Tottenham Court Road area. The film explores artist positionality when portraying site-specific stories. It contemplates how traditional making processes and aesthetics can be retained in digital spheres, in a world where they can be lost in the current of rapid technological development. Created by A to Z Productions (Ah Young Shin and Zoe Shum) at the Royal College of Art.

The models were displayed in full at the Digital Direction 2024 Degree Show at White City.
